Cottage Golica is a place where the nature of Vranica can be experienced by all body senses, and which can not be reached by motor vehicles. It is attractive for mountaineers, mountain bikers and other nature lovers, eager for peace and relaxation. It is located on the western slopes of the Matorac massif, below the eponymous peak (1937 m) and the famous Vran kamen (1865 m). Staying at this unique location and in a recently renovated cottage, suitable for up to 10 people, close to the source of drinking mountain water, your experience will be superb and unforgettable. It is recommended to access from Fojnica, from two directions: * FIRST option: a marked hiking trail, directly from Fojnica, towards the top of Matorac, to the passage of Gorevina (about 3 hours walk), where the trail separates and an additional 30 min walk takes you to the cottage on Golica. * SECOND option: hiking trail from the motel "Brusnica" on Poljana, the ridge of the mountain massif of Matorac, to its peak (in about 1,5 hours walk) and an additional 30 min descent to the cottage on Golica! Golica is the ideal starting point for making shorter and longer hiking tours to the Zec and Pogorelica mountains, the Vitreusa massif, the spring of the Vrbas River, the Prokosko Lake and many peaks of the Vranica Mountain over 2000 m above sea level.
